Insights Discovery Training Programme.

VARIOUS

Overview

Insights Discovery is a psychometric tool based on the psychology of Carl Jung that helps people understand themselves and others better. Using the four-colour model, Fiery Red, Sunshine Yellow, Earth Green and Cool Blue to represent different personality types and behaviours Insights Discovery can be used for personal development, teamwork, sales and organisational effectiveness.

The  origins of personality theory can be traced back to the fifth century BC, when Hippocrates identified four distinct energies exhibited by different people. The Insights System is built around the Jung’s model of personality, as first published in 1921 entitled ‘Personality Types’.

Using Jung’s typology, the Insights Discovery profile offers a framework for self-understanding and development. Research suggests that a good understanding of self, both strengths and weaknesses, enables individuals to develop effective strategies for interaction and can help them to better respond to the demands of their environment.

Who is it for?

Insights Discovery is suitable for all levels and gives learners the foundation of self-awareness they’ll need to be successful at whatever they do; whether that’s developing themselves, working effectively as part of a team, or leading others with authenticity and success.

Through Insights Discovery, individuals will gain a common language that has wide-ranging benefits, including connecting colleagues across geographical and cultural boundaries, and providing a safe platform for feedback conversations.

Using Insights Discovery as part of a wider programme of development and change

  • Improving team productivity: used in conjunction with our teamwork programmes, Insights Discovery tackles collaboration, communication and working relationships

  • Increasing personal effectiveness: used as part of a one-to-one coaching programme, Insights Discovery can help people create a tailor-made development plan

  • Boosting sales performance: by looking at the effectiveness of your ‘sales’ people at each stage of the ‘sales’ cycle, we create strategies to improve customer relationships and smash targets

  • Introducing a common language: the language of colour spreads quickly throughout organisations - it's memorable, simple to understand and means that the learning isn't forgotten once people are back on the day job

The foundation and management profile, will be your starting point. Your profile document will be based on your answers to the on-line questionnaire, and will include information on the following areas:

Insights Discovery Workshop.

1 DAY

In today’s climate of global and local disruption and constant change it’s more important than ever to make sure teams are connected. For many of us, our projects and deliverables have become even more critical as our organisations overcome the many obstacles caused by the changing world in which we live.

This is why helping team members communicate and work effectively together, despite the uncertainties, can ensure they build enduring relationships, stay on track and organisations achieve their mission and purpose.

Insights Discovery profiling, the proposed workshop and optional 1 to 1 coaching sessions are designed to help attendees to build greater understanding of themselves and their colleagues so that they can have more respectful, productive and positive working relationships, even across virtual boundaries.

By knowing each other’s personal preferences, individuals can better meet the needs of their work colleagues in meetings,  working under pressure, and in their daily interactions with colleagues and other stakeholders.

The areas explored include:

  • Explore and discover more about yourself

  • Learn how to recognise and appreciate others ‘differences’

  • How to adapt your behaviour to interact more effectively with others

  • Take action and put your learning into practice

Impact

As a newly formed senior leadership team, and since introducing Insights training and coaching we have seen a real shift in how we as individuals are connecting and collaborating.  It has really helped us to understand one another on a deeper and more meaningful level.  It has supported us to better understand one another’s preferred communication and learning styles, provided time and space for us to learn, explore and understand what motivates us, and how we can best support one another and work together.

The language of Insights is becoming part of our everyday conversations and considerations and continues to support us in creating and fostering a more open, respectful and energised environment and team culture.  Personally, it’s been incredibly rewarding to witness first- hand how individuals are growing in confidence and seeing them thrive together.

Working with Bex, who skilfully and sensitively led us through the Insights Discovery workshops has been more than an exchange of training – it has become a foundation and ethos that we will now be extending so that all of our leaders have the same opportunity for exploring their own leadership styles, preferences and approaches, so they too can further understand their own, and their colleagues values and motivations in the incredibly safe environment that Bex leads so brilliantly."

The benefits of coaching

  • Increases self-confidence: Feedback has shown me that 100% of my coaching clients feel that, as a result of their coaching experience, their self-confidence has increased significantly.

  • Facilitates goal achievement: the setting of SMART goals based on your identified areas for development will provide us with a focused, purposeful structure for our work together.

  • Encourages continuous learning: our work together will provide you with a feedback loop from which you can reflect on your ‘mistakes and celebrate your successes. This ongoing process of reflection and adjustment will help you to develop your growth mindset and enable you to adapt and improve with focus and confidence.
