Practical, reassuring support for families built on national evidence and real‑life needs.
Every stage of a child’s development is exciting, emotional and often daunting: full of those “Are we doing this right?” moments. All parents want to help but aren’t always sure what to focus on or how to support their child’s development at home.
Across the UK, national research from Ofsted, the EEF, Public Health England and the Department for Education shows the same pattern: Parents are their child’s most influential educators but they often lack clear, practical, confidence‑building guidance.
The Roots, Leaves and Wings parent workbooks were created to meet that need with real-life understanding, clarity and evidence‑based structure.
Why parents potentially need this support
National findings consistently show that:
-
A strong home learning environment has more impact on early development than any single school factor.
-
Families often feel unsure what “school readiness” or developmental readiness actually involves.
-
Children with barriers to learning make the strongest progress when parents have simple, everyday activities to build confidence, communication, independence and emotional security.
-
Parents want support that is practical, flexible, low‑pressure and free from jargon.
The Roots, Leaves and Wings activity workbooks deliver exactly this.
